Executive Summary
Student Leadership Bridge was a pilot initiative designed to bring proven practices from U.S. student governments to Ukrainian schools. Through interviews with American student leaders and a close partnership with Waukee Northwest High School Student Government, the project developed a set of training modules and consultation sessions tailored to the Ukrainian context. Although the pilot reached a small number of participants, it produced practical materials, strengthened international collaboration, and directly informed subsequent projects with broader reach.

Research & interviews
Conducted structured interviews with American student government members to collect examples, workflows, and meeting practices

Outcomes & Impact
- Practical materials produced: A set of training outlines, meeting templates, and facilitation guides adapted for Ukrainian school parliaments
- Stronger student voice: Pilot participants reported clearer meeting structures and increased confidence in proposing initiatives to school administration (qualitative feedback collected during consultations)
- International partnership: Established a direct line of exchange with Waukee Northwest High School Student Government that can support future mentorship, resource sharing, and joint activities
- Seed for scaling: The pilot’s learning and materials were used to design larger projects that expanded reach across additional schools
